Transitioning a Summer Dress for Fall

The hubs and I got to have a date night, and I wanted to use the opportunity to wear my favorite dress from this summer one more time! I threw on a sweater to transition this dress from summer to fall and be more weather appropriate.

This dress was my most worn dress this summer, by far! The colors are just amazing, and I love that the print is a hand-painted watercolor pattern. It’s super unique! It has pockets, adjustable straps, isn’t too long for me (5’4″) and fits TTS. The rouching at the bodice makes for a very flattering fit and I love the full skirt. It’s lined and very lightweight. A couple sizes on sale for 25% off here.

I got this sweater last winter and wear it all the time in the cooler months! I love the exposed seam detail, and it comes in a million colors. Fits TTS with a naturally oversized look. Size down if you want a more fitted look.

This Clare V. Pot de Miel purse was my go-to this summer. It holds a surprising amount of stuff and is just so darling! Unfortunately, the colorway I have is sold out, but the checkered pattern is available! Definitely a fun version of this purse and easier to style in the fall!

My TKEES wrap sandals were another favorite from this summer – they are actually really comfortable and stay on well (I really put them to the test walking the 1.5-mile roundtrip for school drop-off). This tan color goes with everything, but they come in black too! I always size down 1/2 size in sandals.
